Slippery Elm Bark
Ulmus rubra
Slippery Elm is the inner bark of a native North American tree, traditionally used by Native American nations and early settlers as both food and herbal support. When mixed with water, the bark becomes a smooth, slippery gel that coats and soothes, which is how it earned its name.
