Achillea millefolium

Yarrow's botanical name, Achillea, comes from the Greek hero Achilles, who is said to have used it to care for his soldiers on the battlefield. Found in meadows across the Northern Hemisphere, it has been used in nearly every herbal tradition in the world, from Europe to China to Native America.

Flavor & Aroma: Bitter, aromatic and slightly sweet, with a camphor-like aroma.

How to Use

• Steam & bath: Add to a facial steam or warm bath.

Good to Know

Avoid during pregnancy. Those sensitive to ragweed or daisies may also be sensitive to yarrow. Talk with your provider if you take blood thinners.
